Note:   This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act, Article II, O.S. L. The Board may discuss, make motions, vote to approve, vote to table or decide not to discuss any item on this agenda.

           

1.      Call to order and roll call recording members present.

2.      Invocation and Salute to the Flag.

3.      Adoption of the Agenda

4.      Vote to approve the minutes from the December 8, 2008 regular board meeting.

5.      Recognition of Guests

6.      Administrative Reports

a.       Principal’s Report

b.      Superintendent’s Report

7.      Vote to approve the activity fund report

8.      Vote to approve the general fund P.O. #s 172-187, building fund P.O. # 8, General Fund Warrants # 550-649, Building Fund Warrant # 10, and Child Nutrition Warrants # 69-81.

11.  Proposed Executive Session to Discuss the;

a.       Employment status of the Superintendent so that the board can return to open session and take possible action with regard to the Superintendent’s employment.

b.      Reemployment status of Annette Dighton, Administrative Assistant, so that the board may return to open session and take action.

c.       Resignation of Tashina Morris, special education teacher.

d.      Hiring of a special education paraprofessional.

12.  Vote to convene or not convene in executive session.

13.  Vote to acknowledge or not to acknowledge the board’s return to open session.

14.  Executive Session Minutes Announcement.

15.  Vote to employ or not to employ Ira Harris as Superintendent.

16.  Vote to employ or not employ Annette Dighton as Administrative Assistant.

17.  Vote on employment of special education paraprofessional through May 21, 2009.

18.  Vote on declaring old buses surplus property

19.  Vote on submitted bids for surplus copiers.

20.  Vote on employing Bill Pickle as auditor for FY2009-2010.

21.  Resignations: Vote on submitted resignations
